This Woman Lost 65lbs in One Year Without Ever Going to the Gym

Tiffany lost 65 pounds by cutting out certain foods from her diet and working out at home.

Most people think that losing weight means going to the gym everyday to shed those pounds. While joining a gym, getting a personal trainer, and sticking to that gym-driven fitness plan are typically very successful ways of losing weight, one woman shows the world that it’s definitely not the only way.

When Tiffany, a weight loss blogger and mom of two, realized she needed to do something about her health and her weight, she didn’t actually turn to the gym.

Tiffany hit her breaking point in May of 2016 when she was 24 years old. She was 230 pounds at the time and was truly disgusted with herself. She admits on her fitness blog that she had always struggled with her weight. The young woman shares that she first started dieting when she was only 9 years old.

“I never truly understood what it took to be healthy,” she admitted. But one day, she looked in the mirror and was baffled at how she could look like she did at only 24 years old. She wouldn’t even buy the size 22 dresses that she needed because she couldn’t face the number. Instead, she would settle for a very stretchy XL dress to make herself feel better.

Tiffany shares that she would see fit moms running around and playing with their kids and realized that that’s how she wanted to be.

So, in May 2016, Tiffany set out on her weight loss journey. She cut out all dairy and gluten from her diet and began to see results almost immediately. She also cut back on other unhealthy food items like candy and soda.

What Tiffany didn’t actually do was join a gym. She’s a busy, young mom and didn’t really see the gym as a good fit for herself. Instead, Tiffany worked out five to six times a week using the Insanity Max 30 workout videos at home.

She admits that the workouts were incredibly hard at first, given her unhealthy state, but she kept at it. Soon, as she started to drop the pounds, the workouts became easier.

By sticking to her healthy dieting plans and keeping up with her home workouts, Tiffany was able to drop about 65 pounds in one year. In that one year, she went from a size double-extra-large to a size small in clothing.

Tiffany still works on her fitness to this day. She posts updates on her Instagram account to inspire others who are in similar situations. She’s now 25 years old and currently weighs 155 pounds, which is 75 pounds down from her original starting weight of 230 pounds.

Tiffany explains, “My motivation is to experience life to the fullest and be the best me and mom I can be!” She also tells people who are just starting out on their fitness journeys that her number one tip is to just go for it instead of waiting for some special opportune moment.

Tiffany admits that she realized achieving the beautiful body most of us dream of takes hard work and dedication, but she is grateful to be on the journey and has never turned back.
